Sea Kayaking the Cliffs
Paddle through sea caves and beneath the 600-metre volcanic cliffs on a guided kayak tour. No experience needed.
This is my favourite walk on the island. You leave the marina heading north, and within 10 minutes the tourist infrastructure drops away completely.
Follow the coastal track past the Acantilados viewpoint, continuing on the PR-TF-57 path towards Punta de Teno. The path is well-marked but rocky underfoot — proper shoes, not sandals.
At the lighthouse you’ll see all three western Canary Islands on a clear day. The walk back uses the same path; there’s no loop option.
Mostly flat to moderate incline. One short rocky descent into a dry barranco. Fine for anyone with reasonable fitness.

Year-round boat trips to spot pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, and the occasional loggerhead turtle just off the Los Gigantes cliffs.
