Calisthenics
Outdoor bodyweight training sessions focused on strength, mobility, and endurance, held in the open air in Alcalá.
The Oasis has been shut since Covid — years of it sitting empty above the marina — so its reopening is genuinely good news for anyone who wants a day by a pool rather than fighting for space on the black-sand beach. It’s a proper lido: a big adults’ pool looking straight out at the cliffs, a separate kids’ pool with slides, and gardens with lawn and palms to spread out on.
A day pass gets you into the pools and a sun lounger for the day. It’s set up for staying put — there are food trucks on site (smash burgers, fries and wraps at one, salads and poke at another), a kiosk for ice cream and coffee, and a bar doing cocktails, so you don’t need to leave once you’re in.
If you want to make more of it, a Balinese bed is €65 and covers admission for two plus a fruit plate and a drink — worth it for a couple who want shade and somewhere to actually lie down. Umbrellas are €3 to rent otherwise.
On weekend evenings they run “Oasis Sunset” from 6pm to 10pm — a €10 ticket with a welcome drink, timed for the cliffs going gold as the sun drops. It’s a separate ticket from the day pass. Different vibe: music and drinks rather than swimming.
General admission pricing isn’t listed publicly — you’ll see it at the booking step online — so check the current rate before you commit, especially for a family. And it’s a pool day, not a beach: if what you actually want is the sea, the marina and Playa de Los Guios are a two-minute walk downhill.
