Outdoor Bootcamp

One of the most consistent fitness options in Los Gigantes is the outdoor bootcamp that runs on the seafront promenade most mornings. It’s small (usually 6–12 people), mixed ability, and the instructor keeps things moving.

What to expect

Sessions rotate through circuits: bodyweight squats, press-ups, lunges, resistance band work, and the occasional sprint up the ramp to the viewpoint that nobody enjoys but everyone finishes. No equipment needed — just trainers and something you can sweat in.

Who it’s for

Mixed crowd — mostly long-stay visitors and a few locals. Total beginners are genuinely welcome; the instructor scales the exercises. If you’re used to training regularly you’ll still get a solid workout.

Practical tips

  • Show up 5 minutes early on your first session to say hello
  • Bring water — there’s no shade on the seafront after 9am
  • It runs in light rain; only cancels in strong wind or heavy downpour
