Carlos — General Handyman

Finding a reliable tradesperson in a resort town is harder than it should be. Carlos has been here 15 years, speaks fluent English, shows up when he says he will, and doesn’t charge tourist prices.

What he handles

• Plumbing: tap replacements, shower heads, pressure issues
• Electrics: light fittings, sockets, fuse box resets (not full rewires)
• Furniture: flat-pack assembly, wardrobe fitting
• General: tiles, grouting, door adjustments, window seals

Rates

€30–€40/hour depending on the job. Parts extra and quoted upfront. Call or WhatsApp first with a photo of the problem — he can often give you a rough estimate before coming out.

Note

He’s busy. Expect 1–2 days for non-urgent jobs. For genuine emergencies (active water leak) he does his best to come same day.
